Structural Engineer - Offshore

Roles and Responsibilities

1. Offshore Structural Design:

   • Develop and review offshore structural designs in accordance with industry standards and project specifications.

2. FEED and Detailed Engineering:

   • Participate in Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) and produce detailed engineering deliverables.

3. Structural Analysis:

   • Perform structural analysis and design calculations for topside and jacket structures using SACS software.

4. Project Coordination:

   • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including project managers, engineers, and clients, to ensure seamless project execution.

5. Technical Documentation:

   • Prepare and review technical documentation, including design reports, specifications, and drawings.

6. Compliance and Safety:

   • Ensure designs comply with relevant codes, standards, and safety regulations.

7. Quality Control:

   • Conduct quality control checks and reviews of engineering deliverables to ensure accuracy and completeness.

8. Problem Solving:

   • Identify and resolve technical issues and challenges during the design and construction phases.

9. Client Interaction:

   • Interface with clients to understand project requirements and provide technical support and guidance.

10. Mentoring and Training:

    • Mentor junior engineers and provide training on structural design and analysis techniques.
